  APPLICATIONS:

l  It is used where high pressure recovery is required.
l  Flow measuring flow rates of water,gases,suspended soil,slurries and dirty liquid.
l  Used to measure high flow rates in pipes having diameters in a few meters.

 ADVANTAGES:

l  Less changes of getting clogged with sediments.
l  Coefficient of dischargeis high(0.96-0.98)
l  Its behaviour can be predicted perfectly.
l  Can be installed vertically,horizontally or inclined.
